WHAT'S Holding YOU Back?!?
In recent weeks, I have heard over and over again, "I am going to start my own business when this election is over." I understand that we are in uncertain times so people are becoming anxious to have their "own" means of income, but others are still hesitant to start something new.
So what is holding you back from achieving your own financial freedom today? We can all come up with countless reasons (or excuses) for not starting our own business, but if your "reason" was the Presidential election, ask yourself again, what is holding you back?
Here's a list of reasons I commonly hear:
- "I don't have enough money to start."
The initial cost is as low as$39.95 per month - which is less than the cost of a single cup of coffee each day for one month. And remember this is a money MAKING business! You have a great product to market.
- "The holidays are coming soon."
Yes, they are! What a great time to get started with all the holiday sales ahead!
- "I don't have enough time."
I know time is tight for everyone. I have yet to meet someone who claims they have more than enough time to get everything done that they want. But if told you that if you committed to working your business 7-10 hours a week for 3-5 years you could achieve financial freedom, don't you think you could find those hours?
Don't believe me, eh? Then grab something to drink, kick backand watch Randy Gage's presentation at www.CheckOutTheBiz.com
Perhaps Zig Zigler put it best, "If you continue to do what you have always done, you will continue to get what you have always gotten. If where you are today makes you perfectly happy and will continue to make you perfectly happy five years from now then that is great. But if where you are today isn't making you happy or won't still make you happy five years from now then what changes are you willing to make?"
If you are ready to consider a change, e-mail me at yourdreamscents@gmail.com and let's talk about it.
If you don't start making changes in your life now, then when will you? What IS holding you back?!?

And the Basket Goes To...

As promised in my previous post I am about to fill everyone in on the winner of that Pink-Theme Votive Trio Heart Basket, but first here's a peek at the final product!
The Heart Basket with clean-burning votive trio from http://www.yourdreamscents.com/ made a perfect base for this special little Gift Tower! The second level has a beautiful chunky bar of Love Sudz; a two-tone pink handmade glycerin & shea based soap from http://www.yourmineralgirlz.com/ with a cute pink bath puff in a small, round wicker basket. On the top level is a Pink Ribbon Pearberry Soap & Lotion Bar duo gift wrapped in a cello bag with a wine colored raffia bow from http://jordanjunkie.com/
This Pink Gift set was created for and awarded to the highest individual contributor in our Passionately Pink for the Cure campaign! In a time of financial difficulties all around it is especially rewarding to "give back" and our project was well received! EVERYONE is to be commended and all donations greatly appreciated!
Now, without further ado... The Winner of the Perfectly Pink Gift Set and Top Individual Contributor was HOLLY A.!
And thank you Paul for getting Holly in to pick up her gift without spilling the beans! ;)
This marked our first effort in fundraising for the Susan G. Komen foundation and just the beginning! Plans are already in the works for October 2009!
